What is Mixreel?

The Mixreel platform allows users to design and block out 3D scenes, and render directly via AI video to video models.

When will it be available?

An alpha version for early testing will be available in January 2025. Please contact us if you'd like to join the alpha testing group.

Is it free to use?

The editor itself is free to users. All users will be able to design scenes, use custom cameras, animate assets and render unlit videos. Rendering videos via video-to-video models will require credits to be purchased.

What platforms are supported?

Initially, the alpha version of Mixreel will be available for MacOS. A web version will be available for early testing in January 2025.

Are generated videos publicly available?

During the initial alpha, all generated videos will be publicly available on the Mixreel website.

Do you have an API available?

There are currently no plans to offer an API for programmatic video generation.

Which video-to-video models do you use?

We are using the alpha phase to evaluate various video-to-video models (including Hunyuan, CogVideo, including Veo and KlingAI).
